Customized Leadership Development
We create unique leadership development solutions for clients throughout the world. Our leadership development designs include individual assessment and feedback, individual and team coaching and real-time action learning to engage the participants in addressing current strategic priorities facing the enterprise. Each design is created to address the needs of the target audience, whether that be the top leadership or specific levels or functions within the organization. We work with internal/external design teams to gain a complete understanding of the environment within which the target leaders perform their work. This understanding is then translated into a very specific statement of purpose for the learning intervention. The purpose statement then sets the direction for the design. We will leverage a mix of internal line leaders as well as our own team supplemented with occasional adjunct partners to teach segments of our programs. Finally, we build in evaluation and follow-up mechanisms to all of our work with leaders. Some examples of our customized leadership development include:
- Creating a tailored design for the Vice President level of a large media and entertainment company aimed at building individual leadership effectiveness related to innovation, growth and execution.
- Designing an intensive two-week boot camp for the high potential leaders of a global high tech manufacturer to prepare these leaders for officer level roles and create a strong engagement between the participants and the Company Chairman and CEO for driving transformation in customer service.
- Designing large-scale leadership and learning forums for the store management teams of a large Canadian retailer addressing the changing face of retail competition in Canada, shifting customer demands, the challenges of recruiting and retaining the millennial workforce and the deployment of three strategic imperatives across 1,000 stores.
- The development of the next generation Program Manager curriculum for a global high tech manufacturer in materials sciences. With the objective of doubling the rate of productive innovation and increasing the efficiency of the new product development process, the company has targeted the expansion of Program Management talent as a key strategic priority.
